Early Education

Fuping’s early education business started in December 2010. A year later, on the basis of previous cooperation, Fuping Development Institute, the Little Oak Children’s House and several experts in the early education field jointly founded a social enterprise: Beijing Qianqianshu Education Consultation Co., Ltd.

By bringing together social resources, Qianqianshu provides high quality and affordable early education products and services in a socially innovative way. By doing so, it aims to fill the gap of high quality early education services for low-income families in rural kindergartens and in kindergartens for children of migrant workers, and to promote the equitable development of children’s education in China.

In a bid to improve early education for low-income families, rural and migrant kindergartens, Fuping early education adopts the following approaches:

l  Establish a R&D center for early childhood education; develop early education products and kindergarten courses;

l  Operate a model pilot kindergarten; also develop similar demo kindergartens in different regions across the country;

l  Provide kindergarten management training and teachers training;

l  Establish a development network of kindergartens and training/education services for teachers, parents and other associated parties;

Fuping is currently running a kindergarten for migrant children named “Qianqianshu Children’s House” in Guo Village (Fruit Village), Yujiawu Town of Tongzhou District in Beijing. With an enrollment capacity for over 100 kids, “Qianqianshu Children’s House” has introduced a set of cost-effective kindergarten courses developed by Qianqianshu in line with the children’s development. Qianqianshu Children’s House works to enhance the interactions amongst the parents and the community through the library, a children’s theatre and parent-children activities. Qianqianshu Children’s House will become a model, replicable kindergarten to demonstrate cost-effective early education services, and serve as a teacher training base for rural and migrant kindergartens.
